02. Supply Chain Mapping

03. Supply Chain Assessments

Supply chain assessments are in-depth evaluations of the firm's supply chain from raw materials to end-product to identify gaps, bottlenecks, challenges and opportunities for improvement aimed at optimizing performance, strengthening resilience and strategic alignment with business goals.

Previous Work: Fred Hollows Foundation - Supply Chain Assessment for ophthalmic items required for Cataract Surgeries in Kenya and Ethiopia.

04. Assessment of Health Equipment Maintenance Management Systems

Equipment maintenance management systems are critical to ensure they deliver long term value and that patient safety and good treatment outcomes are guaranteed. A well-planned maintenance programme keeps medical equipment reliable, safe and available for use when needed, prolonging the useful life of equipment and minimizing the cost of equipment ownership.

05. Total Cost of Ownership Analysis

The purchasing costs of a piece of equipment are only a fraction of the total financial investment required to keep it functional long term. A total cost of ownership (TCO) assessment provides an estimation of expenses associated with purchasing, deploying, using, and retiring a product or piece of equipment. A TCO analysis is particularly critical for major investments such as high value, high technology medical equipment.
